Center for Quantum Electronics – 25 years of construction and development

On December 15, 2023, the Center for Quantum Electronics under the Institute of Physics celebrated its 25th anniversary. Attending were leaders of the Institute of Physics, Chairman of the Scientific Council, Chairman of the Trade Union, leaders of research centers in the Institute, along with all staff who have worked at the Center, graduate students, and senior students are studying and working at the Center.

The Center for Quantum Electronics under the Institute of Physics - Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology is one of the strongest units in Vietnam in the research fields of optics, spectroscopy, physics and laser technology. With high-quality human resources and investment in modern equipment, the Center has carried out many projects at all levels and has had many results, scientific research products have been transferred to research facilities. as well as training throughout the country, for example, short pulse laser systems in the infrared region have been transferred to the Military Academy of Science and Technology, University of Natural Sciences - Hanoi National University, Institute of Military Science and Technology to serve in training and research at a high level.

Over the past 25 years, the Center has had 08 patents, over 300 publications in the catalog of SCI and SCI-E magazines, hundreds of publications in international and national journals and in the proceedings of scientific conferences. In 2023 alone, the Center has had 18 publications in the ISI list, and many other publications in prestigious scientific journals.

The Center also actively participates in organizing domestic and international scientific conferences and international thematic classes, such as the National Conference on Spectroscopic Optics and the International Conference on Applied Photonics. (ICPA), Conference on natural sciences for young scientists and postgraduate students from ASEAN countries, International Conference on Technical and Applied Physics.

Currently, the Center continues to further promote the research directions it has outlined, attracting many young officials with passion and ability; thereby further strengthening and promoting both scientific publication in high-quality ISI journals, training and international cooperation.

With its achievements, the Center has for many years been awarded the title of advanced and excellent labor collective by the leaders of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology and the Institute of Physics; 02 officers won the 2016 Kovalevskaia award and many other emulation titles.
