Attending the training class were officers, employees and workers from the Block of units assisting the President of VAST, the Party People's Office Block and members of the Grassroots Fire Prevention Team of affiliated units.

Fire prevention and rescue training is an important activity and must be carried out regularly, especially for grassroots fire prevention and fighting forces. Through professional training, members of the grassroots Fire Prevention and Fighting Team, all civil servants, public employees and workers in the unit grasp basic knowledge of fire prevention and fighting and the provisions of law on fire prevention and fighting to advise leaders of construction units and organize the implementation of fire prevention and fighting tasks; Be especially proactive in preventing and proficiently using on-site fire prevention and fighting equipment and procedures for organizing fire rescue when a fire incident occurs; Improve the ability of grassroots fire prevention and fighting forces to organize propaganda and dissemination of laws and knowledge of fire prevention and rescue, thereby raising the sense of responsibility of officials and workers in fire prevention and rescue work.

At the training class, Captain Diep Xuan Hai disseminated basic knowledge in fire prevention and rescue work, analyzed the causes of some typical fires and explosions; Escape skills and methods of using fire-fighting equipment when a fire or explosion occurs.

The training class also implemented practical instructions on basic knowledge of fire prevention and rescue, training class students practiced using firefighting equipment according to proper techniques and ensuring safety.
